DIY Chanel Inspired Pearl Pins

I love wearing pearl pins in my hair. I think it is the best way to add a finishing touch to any up-do. Pearl bobby pins so different from other hair accessories, and this is also why I like them so much.So here's a tutorial about pearl bobby pins, inspired by the look from Spring 2012 Chanel runway show.

You'll need a white embroidery floss,a bobby pin, scissors and of course, a pearl!

Cut out a 7 inches long strand of the embroidery floss.Tie it to the bobby pin, leaving the same length of thread on both sides on the knot.

Now slide the pearl on one of the thread tie it tightly to the bobby pin so it doesn't wobble around.

Now wrap the longer side of thread around the base of the pearl as if tying a balloon.

And now tie another knot tightly after wrapping.

Cut off any excess thread...And now you are done! Your pearl  pins are ready!
